Palo Alto Library

When the Palo Alto Public Library decided to dedicate a section of the building to a teen maker space they decided to give the participating teens a change to design the furniture in their space. Working together Hero, Knoll and Tam and the Library taught a series of design thinking classes culminating in cardboard mockups of the designs.

After some revisiosn we then did our best to bring the teen’s visions into reality. In the end we produced a set of ball stools with storage area benieth, an octogon shaped rolling tool chest (the Toolagon), a seris of triangular tables capabe of tileing, a seris of mobile boards with a set of color cored french cleats on one side and white board on the other, and set of showcase shelves bosting the leters MAKE.
